We started Vellume the year we got tired of being sold to.
Our story
We wanted skincare we could trace by name.
Most skincare is blended in a factory you will never see, marked up four times over, and sold to you by a face two decades younger than the one in your bathroom. We did the math, ran out of patience, and decided to build the small version instead.
So we found one regenerative farm in the Mad River Valley and a six-person lab down the road. The tallow is rendered slow. The honey is raw. The copper peptide is held to the upper end of what the studies actually support, and nothing leaves the shelf until it does what we say it does.
Fewer things, made carefully, by people whose names we know. If something is not right, you write us, and a person writes back. That is the entire promise.

Traceable, not trendy
One farm, one herd, one supply chain we can point to on a map. No mystery suppliers, no borrowed lab coats.

A short, honest list
Every ingredient earns its place or it comes out. If you cannot pronounce it and it is not pulling weight, it is gone.

Slow on purpose
Forty days a batch, because the peptide needs the time to bond. We give it the time, even when it is inconvenient.
